The purpose of the projects funded in the scope of Integrated Territorial Investments under the investment priority targeting energy efficiency under is to contribute to the output indicator ‘’Number of households with improved energy consumption classification by 2023’’. As many as 478 publicly owned units across Slovenia, of which 161 units are in buildings located in Velenje at Cesta talcev 18 a, Vojkova 12 a and Simona Blatnika 1, are planned to be labelled with a higher energy efficiency class thanks to undergoing energy efficient renovation. The three apartment buildings underwent energy efficient renovation and were retrofitted with energy efficient elements. Energy renovation projects help improve the quality of living for the residents, reduce energy use, bring down consumption costs as well as operational costs, curb maintenance-related issues, and create job opportunities for energy efficiency service providers and contractors specialised in carrying out energy efficiency projects.
