EU funds for the programme First challenges

Ljubljana, 5 July 2012 – Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, as the Managing Authority for the EU structural funds and the Cohesion Fund, issued a decision granting EU funds for the programme “First challenges”, which will be implemented by the Employment Service of Slovenia. The programme, which is worth 9,000,000.00 Euros, will be co-financed by the European Social Fund in the amount of 7,650,000.00 Euros.  

The purpose of the programme is to promote employment of the unemployed under 30 who have been registered as unemployed for at least 3 months.  

The programme is implemented in the framework of the Operational Programme for Human Resources Development for the Period 2007–2013, priority axis “Equal opportunities and reinforcing social inclusion”, main type of activity “Equal opportunities in the labour market and reinforcing social inclusion”.
