The exhibition will open on October 2 2014 at 17:00 and will run till 23 October 2014. It will be held at the Congress Square in Ljubljana. You will get the chance to vote for your favourite exhibited project, thus getting the opportunity to win an attractive prize.
More than 95,300 projects received EU support in the 2007-2013 programming period, and we wish to draw attention to a number of success stories that not just happened but were made thanks to the EU monies (the European Regional Development Fund, the Cohesion Fund, the European Social Fund, the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and/or the European Fisheries Fund). That is precisely why the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food and the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy decided to launch the contest. For more information about the contest go to:www.eu-skladi.si/en
General public nominated the projects that changed their lives or made their lives and life in the community significantly better. We received 81 project nominations, of which 26 were randomly drawn to enter the exhibition. Projects’ photographies will be on display at the photography exhibition held at the Congress Square. The mission of the exhibition is to get the public acquainted with these projects by showing them how EU support has made a difference in the past seven years.
A big thank you goes out to anybody who submitted the nominations. We would also like to invite all of you to participate by casting your vote for your favourite project from 2 October 2014 onwards at the website www.eu-skladi.si/en, and get the chance to win an attractive prize.
Please join us at the Congress Square on 2 October 2014 at 17:00 to enjoy an interesting opening event hosted by the famous Slovenian stand-up comedian called Pižama (“PJs”), and see who gets to win the prizes. Anyway, you will not be leaving the event hungry, as you will be offered culinary treats and cultural goodies.
Welcome!
Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy and Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food
