MEDT approved the Public call for proposals to co-finance projects for the development of e-services and mobile applications for public and private non-profit organisations in 2012 and 2013
Ljubljana, 18 July 2012 – Ministry of Economic Development and Technology (MEDT), as the Managing Authority for the EU structural funds and the Cohesion Fund, issued a decision approving the Public call for proposals to co-finance projects for the development of e-services and mobile applications for public and private non-profit organisations in 2012 and 2013. The overall amount of the grants, which will be awarded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport (MESCS) for the public call, is 3,000,000 Euros. European Regional Development Fund contribution is 2,550,000 Euros.
The objective of the public call for proposals is to increase the availability of e-services and mobile applications of the public and private non-profit organisations, which will enable their use to the wider population.
The public call for proposals will co-finance the establishment of operational e-services and mobile applications. The projects applied must include new, operational, publically accessible and free of charge, innovative e-services and mobile applications in the following thematic fields:
- E-services and mobile applications in the field of culture
- E-services and mobile applications in the field of science and education
- E-services and mobile applications for consumers
- E-services and mobile applications in the field of health
- E-business
- E-services and mobile applications in the field of local self-government
- E-services and mobile applications in the field of energy efficiency and environment protection
The public call will be implemented in the framework of the Operational Programme for Strengthening Regional Development Potentials for the period 2007–2013. Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, which will publish the public call for proposals, is responsible for the implementation of the public call.
