PROJECT LEARNING FOR YOUNG ADULTS (PLYA)

  • About the project

    ‘Project Learning for Young Adults’ is a free tailor-made training programme designed for young people up to 26 years of age who dropped out of school or are unemployed. The programme empowers young people by helping them find meaning and purpose in life, and motivation to make steps forward, either by going back to school or getting a job.  

    A five-year project ‘SPOT Savinja’ will be showcased at the premises of the Employment Service of Slovenia. The project is implemented under the auspices of SPIRIT Slovenia, Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and is co-financed by the European Social Fund. SPOT in the statistical region of Savinja offers comprehensive business support services to potential entrepreneurs and businesses in the scope of Slovenian business points. The staff at the business point SPOT offers free advice and services to entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs, provides animation and mobilisation activities for the regional environment, supports the promotion of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial culture, and brings together different institutions through creation of partnerships promoting entrepreneurship at the local and regional level. Furthermore, SPOT Savinja offers networking activities for regional support environment players, provides information about entrepreneurship opportunities, delivers training, workshops, experience sharing events in Slovenia and abroad, promotes opening of business opportunities, hosts meetings of support environment actors in the region, etc. Regional businesses will showcase their activities and work in the regional showroom at SPOT Savinja premises at the seat of Regional Chamber of Craft and Small Business Celje.
