Ljubljana, 8 March 2021 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has issued a funding decision for the project Industrial Business Zone Cikava. The EUR 3.5 million development project which will be implemented by Urban Municipality Novo mesto will receive a contribution from the European Regional Development Fund amounting to over EUR 1.7 million.
The project will entail investments in the development of utility infrastructure, associated equipment and other site service infrastructure to meet the needs of the industrial business zone. Thus, a 3.77-hectare large site will see utility infrastructure installed to get a total of 2.92 hectares of serviced industrial space offering affordable access and services to help entrepreneurs grow their business.
The fully serviced site will ensure conditions that allow SMEs to run business and grow to become the driving force of regional economy.
