Ljubljana, 29 August 2022 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy has approved over EUR 1.9 million in EU funding for the project Energy-efficient renovation of buildings of the School Centre Nova Gorica LOT A and EUR 776 thousand for the project Energy-efficient renovation of the building of the Secondary School of Nursing Ljubljana.
As part of the project, the School Centre Nova Gorica will benefit from energy-saving renovation of the building of the School of Mechanical Engineering and Wood Processing, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Secondary School of Economics and Commerce, thus enhancing their energy efficiency and renovating around 14,137 square metres of net floor area. The project worth EUR 4,687,550.69 will receive Cohesion Fund support of EUR 1,912,677.61.
The Secondary School of Nursing will also benefit from EU funds supported energy-saving renovation, namely from thermal insulation of the external walls and the flat roof, replacement of the joinery, installation of energy monitoring and central control system, as well as the renovation of the heat station and the ventilation system. 5,526.15 square metres of net floor area will be renovated. The project worth EUR 1,401,840.91 will receive Cohesion Fund support of EUR 776,091.49.
