Ljubljana, 22 November 2019 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for European Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the call for proposals First-time employment in the field of education 2020 which the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport will publish today. A good EUR 1.9 million will be made available under the call for proposals with the European Social Fund contribution amounting to over EUR 1.5 million. Cohesion region Vzhodna Slovenija will be eligible to a little under EUR 560,000 and the cohesion region Zahodna Slovenija to a good EUR 1.3 million.
The call for proposals aims to support young people aged 29 and under in getting a high-quality job position in the field of education fast, and thus enhance the employment rate of young people participating in labour market measures.
87 entry-level preschool teacher assistants and 69 entry-level teachers will be employment as a result of the abovementioned call for proposals.
