Ljubljana, 25 May 2018 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the call for proposals for providing incentives under the EUREKA 2018 initiative which the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology published today in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia. The funding, made available under the call for proposals, stands at a little under EUR 6.5 million, of which nearly EUR 5.2 million comes from the European Regional Development Fund.
The aim of the call for proposals is to support Slovenia-based research performing SMEs, promote their participation in the EUREKA network projects, and collaboration in research and innovation in key technological areas of the EUREKA programme.
The call for proposals seeks to provide support through grants to at least 10 beneficiaries whose EUREKA projects focus on at least one priority area of application identified in Slovenian Smart Specialisation Strategy, and match the objectives set out in the Operational Programme for the Implementation of the EU Cohesion Policy in the Period 2014-2020.
