Ljubljana, 5 June 2018 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the call for proposals ‘’Incentives for the development of wood and furniture industry in the field of semi-finished products’’ which is to be published soon by the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. The ERDF funding which will be available under the call for proposals amounts to EUR 11.9 million.
The call for proposals aims to support and foster the launch or growth of production of semi-finished wood products in the wood and furniture industry, boost job creation or growth of added value per employee, promote energy efficiency and use of renewables, as well as to implement the measures that improve resource efficiency and contribute to the shift of the country to a circular economy.
At least five operations or SMEs that will launch or see growth of production of semi-finished wood products, roll out resource efficiency measures while increasing the number of employees by at least 10 will be co-financed under the call for proposals.
