Ljubljana, 9 August 2019 - Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for a call for projects under the EUREKA initiative for 2019 which the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology published on 9 August 2019 in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia. The funding made available under the call for proposals amounts to some EUR 4.6 million, of which EUR 3.7 million comes from the European Regional Development Fund.
The goal of the call is to co-finance national institutions implementing international collaborative R&D projects under the EUREKA programme by providing funding in the form of grant to at least ten projects focusing on at least one priority area of application identified in Slovenian Smart Specialisation Strategy (S4). The call further seeks to support Slovenia-based research performing SMEs, fosters their participation in the EUREKA network projects, and helps them keep track and stay on top of the latest EU trends in R&D and entrepreneurship.
