Ljubljana, 21 June 2018 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, issued a grant decision for the project ‘’Active and connected for new jobs and inclusive society 'SocioLab'’’. Nearly EUR 1.3 million for this EUR 1.6 million project comes from the European Social Fund.
The project has been designed to establish a comprehensive ecosystem that strengthens the potentials of individuals, initiatives and communities with a view to supporting the scale-up of social economy in the Podravje region. The project will be committed to creating and safeguarding quality permanent jobs in the social economy sector, and increasing the offer of accessible (socially) innovative products. The ‘’SocioLab’’ project will enhance social inclusion of vulnerable groups, which will contribute to poverty reduction and better quality of life, while boosting the economic and social development of the region.
The project is based on the Agreement for the development of the Pomurje region, and will be implemented by the Foundation for Improvement of Employment Possibilities Prizma from Maribor.
