Ljubljana, 8 December 2021- Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy meets regularly with relevant stakeholders to discuss programming under the multiannual financial framework 2021-2027 to identify future Cohesion Policy measures.
Minister Zvone Černač and State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs presented to the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia the state of play regarding the multiannual financial framework 2014-2020 absorption as well as the timeframe regarding the adoption of the relevant documents under the multiannual financial framework 2021-2027 and its complementarity with the funding available under the ReactEU mechanism and the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The Minister and the State Secretary informed the members of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia of the Partnership Agreement and the related documents as well as the baselines of the new 2021-2027 Cohesion Policy Operational Programme.
After the presentation, the Minister, the State Secretary and Sibil Klančar, Head of the Development Funds Service at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, answered questions posed by members of the National Council of the Republic of Slovenia and considered their proposals regarding EU Cohesion Policy funding as one of the main development and investment sources and the allocation of the available funding for boosting the economy.
