Ljubljana, 1 December 2021 – Government Office for Development and Cohesion Policy is continuing with the first round of consultations with stakeholders regarding the multiannual financial framework 2021-2027 programming that will result in the design of future Cohesion Policy measures.
Over 200 representatives of the cohesion region Vzhodna Slovenija participated in today’s online consultation. In his introductory presentation, Minister Zvone Černač outlined the state of play in terms of MFF 2014-2020 absorption, the planned timeline of MFF 2021-2027 document adoption and the complementarity of the MFF with the funding available under the ReactEU mechanism and the Recovery and Resilience Facility. State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs, her colleagues and the representatives of the region discussed in detail the Partnership Agreement and its supporting documents as well as the starting points of the Cohesion Policy Operational Programme 2021-2027. The field of regional development which is under the responsibility of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology was presented in more detail by dr. Robert Drobnič, acting Director of the Regional Development Directorate. A productive debate followed. Representatives of the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy answered questions and took note of the proposals regarding territorial cooperation, improving MFF implementation and reducing administrative barriers.
