Tirana, 3-5 July 2018 – Experts and members of the Panoramed Steering Group gathered for a three-day meeting in Tirana, the capital of Albania, between 3 and 5 July. The Panoramed project is a unique political forum bringing together national and regional public authorities and stakeholders from the Mediterranean Region, encouraging dialogue, contributing to informed policy and decision-making processes, and supporting the design and implementation of shared approaches and policies, by focusing particularly on coastal and maritime tourism and maritime surveillance. The aim of the meetings which brought together experts from thematic working groups on maritime surveillance and coastal and maritime tourism and members of the Panoramed Steering Group was to design strategic frameworks for the Mediterranean Region.
The Panoramed project is funded by the Interreg Med Programme and involves 19 partners from 12 countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain) and 10 associated partners. Spanish Ministry of Finance and Public Administration acts as Panoramed Lead Partner; Slovenia is represented by the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy.
