Slovenia and EU Commission agree to extend deadline for assessment of Recovery and Resilience Plan by two weeks if necessary

Ljubljana, 11 June 2021 – Slovenia officially submitted its Recovery and Resilience Plan on 30 April in line with the deadline set out in the Regulation establishing a Recovery and Resilience Facility.

Article 19 of that same Regulation lays down that a Member State and the Commission may agree to extend the deadline for assessment of the document by a reasonable period if necessary. At the time of official submission of Slovenia’s Recovery and Resilience Plan, the country and the Commission thus agreed to extend the deadline for assessment of the Plan by two weeks if necessary.
