Ljubljana, 26 November 2021 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy today launched the first round of stakeholder consultations on the preparation of the documents for the multiannual financial framework 2021-2027. The results of consultations with the relevant stakeholders will feed into the design of future cohesion policy measures.
State Secretary mag. Monika Kirbiš Rojs and her colleagues from the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy today met with members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and of the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia via video conference to discuss in detail draft partnership agreement and supporting documents, draft operational programme for the period 2021-2027 and draft smart specialisation strategy. At the meeting, the members of the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy answered stakeholders’ questions concerning draft documents, whereas the representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and of the Chamber of Craft and Small Business provided some valuable content-based suggestions and recommendations for draft documents. The discussion mostly revolved around policy objective 1 Smart Europe which includes promotion of innovation, digitalisation, economic transformation and support to SMEs as well as around policy objectives 2 and 3 in parts relating to fostering of low-carbon technologies and sustainable mobility.
