In October and November 2018, we invited you to go out there, find EU-funded projects, and capture them by making short interesting videos uploaded on one of your social media channels. The videos you created showcased a project or a person linked to the project or a story which was co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund or the Cohesion Fund.
Up until 10 December, you were able to vote online for your favourite video among the 20 contest entrants. Over 9,500 votes were cast and you decided to give most votes to the video Scientists against plastic.
The winner will receive two flight tickets to one of the European capital cities.
The author of the best video as chosen by a panel of judges consisting of the representatives from the Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, media representatives and university professors of relevant fields will also receive a prize. The highest scoring video was Oskrba s pitno vodo na območju Domžale - Kamnik (Drinking water supply in the Domžale - Kamnik area).
The winner will receive a GoPro camera.
A non-cash prize will go to the video STOP BIROKRACIJI (Stop the Bureaucracy) based on voting by members of INFORM network of EU Regional Policy communication officers.
Congratulations to the winners of our video contest!
A big thank you goes out to everyone who entered the video contest. Thank you for sharing your story and your video about an EU project, thank you for voting and, last but not least, thank you for helping us make the benefits of EU funding more visible.
