With their particular soul and history villas need a very special touch when it comes to energy-saving renovation, which was also taken into account when renovating the Villa Koman with the help of EU funding. Their aim was to ensure adequate and significantly lower energy consumption. The villa was built in 1934 in Zgornje Jezersko and, due to poor insulation, could welcome guests only in the warm months of the year. This changed when the villa was renovated with the help of EU funds.
The main goal of the project was energy and material rehabilitation of the building, which can now be used throughout the year. The villa is cost-optimal thus ensuring a long-term successful business for the entrepreneur. In addition to the rehabilitation, a rainwater collector was installed to limit the consumption of drinking water. The measures reduced the negative environmental impacts in the field of tourism, with the added value of the facility being enhanced due to lower operating costs.
