Luxurious vineyard glamping resort
Chateau Ramšak Glamping Resort stretches across over 15 hectares of rolling green hills at the heart of the scenic wine region of Styria, one of the most unspoilt destinations in Slovenia. What makes this resort so special is that it is only a few minutes’ drive away from the bustling city of Maribor, Slovenia’s second largest city, which is known as the home to the oldest vine in the world. Neatly tucked underneath rolling green hills scattered with vineyards, the resort thus combines both city perks and the benefits of living in a rural area. The Ramšak estate boasts its own vine cellar with the largest wine press, and the graft of the world’s oldest vine covering its entrance.
The project received EU funding in the scope of activities supporting the development and promotion of new and innovative tourism products based on the principles of sustainable development. The goal of the project was to support marketing and promotion of the newly established resort along with the resort-related offer as well as the implementation of a targeted marketing strategy aiming to better reach out to international guests, and increase the visibility of the destination.
