The project targets persons with mental health disorders and mental disabilities, persons serving prison sentences scheduled for release, and persons participating in drug rehabilitation programmes and is being implemented in a number of institutions across Slovenia. The project seeks to spur social activation of target groups through integration in cultural components that will help bring these individuals closer to the labour market. The participants gain and improve the knowledge and skills needed to enhance their employment capital by means of a programme that builds on creativity and culture. The programme is to spur social activation among target groups, integration in social networks and entry in the labour market. The programme and its specific activities encourage the participants to convey, by exploring the stories of renowned Slovenian authors, their own feelings, desires and ambitions under the guidance of a specialist mentor and experts from various fields.
