In an effort to provide a more complete and user-friendly experience, the project of renewal and optimisation of the state administration websites includes the creation of a single redesigned, restructured and streamlined website serving as the state administration’s central online resource providing the most current, reliable and complete information about the government, state administration bodies and state procedures, and making online services easier to access. The website enhances user experience in navigating the site, and in general improves the way state communicates with the residents as it provides an array of information in a uniform, comprehensible and transparent manner. The new website follows a uniform editorial policy and uniform standards with a central editorial team managing its content.
The state administration’s central website GOV.SI has been launched in July 2019. The website integrates online services provided by the state into a single unified portal that runs smoothly and to which the content of at least 200 presentation websites of the state administration bodies has been moved. GOV.SI works as the central online information resource and also contains a list of public authorities, description of policy areas, a number of registries, information about events and newsroom with a view to providing fast and easy access to an array of information about the work and services provided by the state administration.
