Ljubljana, 6 May 2019 – Government Office for Development and European Cohesion Policy, the Managing Authority for ERDF, ESF and Cohesion Fund, has issued a grant decision for the ‘’Call for proposals for communication campaign to reduce/end generational stereotypes and promote intergenerational cooperation in the workplace’’. The funding made available under the call for proposals, which is to be published this Friday, amounts to around EUR 1.2 million, of which cohesion region Vzhodna Slovenija is to receive EUR 625,400 and cohesion region Zahodna Slovenija EUR 554,600. The contribution from the ESF stands at over EUR 940,000.
The call for proposals will co-finance one project with a comprehensive communication campaign that will be designed and carried out to promote intergenerational cooperation in the workplace and foster intergenerational symbiosis. The campaign will seek to reduce or end generational stereotypes. The headline goal is therefore to raise awareness of the employers and workers of the importance of intergenerational cooperation in the workplace in order to encourage workers over 45 to stay longer in the labour market, and to ensure high quality jobs for all.
