  • About the project

The ‘Multigenerational Centre Morje Koper’ (‘Sea Koper’) aims to deliver tailor-made programme and activities for vulnerable groups of all ages to provide support and foster understanding, respect and sharing of experience between generations. Working closely together with public institutions, NGOs, social enterprises, municipalities and other institutions, the multigenerational centre builds a strong regional network of mutually beneficial activities. The key goal of the project is to provide interesting, informative and relevant content to target (vulnerable) groups, and to contribute to improving the quality of their life while helping them avoid falling into poverty and social exclusion. The multi-use facility in Koper includes an info point, an open get-together room, and a classroom where various activities and workshops, including language classes, creative workshops for children, young people and adults, cooking classes, painting classes, sewing and knitting classes and guitar lessons are delivered, volleyball and judo practiced, learning support offered, parent training and first aid courses provided, self-help groups hosted, and hiking, tours and excursions organised.
